Dog Allergies and Dog Food

Dawg has posted an updated article on Dog Allergies, and dog food.

Basically if food is over processed it can make it indigestible to some dogs, and this can show up as dry skin, runny tummies and the such like. Often changing to a better brand of food, one not based on using waste products generated by other parts of a multinational corporation, will sort things out.

The whole avoidance thing as some vets recommend, (no wheat, no corn, no red meat), can sometimes be just an easy way out of avoiding finding out what is causing the problem, and then solving it.

Read on! Dawg will be updating and adding to the Dawg library on a regular basis.

Testimonials

"
I have discussed with Nellie whether she is happy to endorse your product - had to give her a treat as she said she needed to be certain that she likes them - and she has no objection and neither do I. She has SLO (an auto-immune disease) and serious food allergies which mean she gets enteritis with any deviation in her diet. It has been really helpful to find a delicious treat she can have ad lib without causing problems yet is distinct from her repetitive, restrictive meal regime. And she loves them! I now have another doggie and he and my resident dog have one of these before bedtime, it is like the hot chocolate drink for humans and aids a nice restful sleep without making them groggy or dopey just Karma! I am now on my second batch and will come back for more again, the service is outstanding and very quick response to orders placed. Thank you very much." — Annie McDonald—Kent
