Dog Allergies and Dog Food

Dawg has posted an updated article on Dog Allergies, and dog food.

Basically if food is over processed it can make it indigestible to some dogs, and this can show up as dry skin, runny tummies and the such like. Often changing to a better brand of food, one not based on using waste products generated by other parts of a multinational corporation, will sort things out.

The whole avoidance thing as some vets recommend, (no wheat, no corn, no red meat), can sometimes be just an easy way out of avoiding finding out what is causing the problem, and then solving it.

Read on! Dawg will be updating and adding to the Dawg library on a regular basis.

Just wanted to say thanks! Postman hardly got the box through the door and the dogs just knew it was for them! As soon as the packet was open they couldnt wait and chomped through the 'Fab Fangs'. I love that these are good for them. I have also bought the training treats and was pleased to see that they were small enough so that i didnt have to break them. Will definately be making a return order - service was quick too. Cant praise you highly enough and have put your flier up at work! Jackie (and Roxy and Buddy the Puggles) xx" — Jackie Tett—Wilts
